About me

Julie Bowen
Bonsai and Tropical Plants Specialist

Julie Bowen’s bonsai journey began at the age of 15 when she attended her first workshop. In 1994, having just turned 17, she started work at the family Bonsai nursery in house, and her father started teaching her the ‘Art’ of Bonsai. She worked there for 16 years, learning about, teaching, and growing Bonsai.

With her deep knowledge and expertise in the field, Julie has been able to create a successful business that specializes exclusively in bonsai trees. She works with many different kinds of plants too. Her blog “Bonsaitopics” is leading information for anyone interested or just curious about bonsai.
